The Buckskin Chinks feature a smooth leather yoke with two grommets inset on the front and silver colored spots set in front of the long fringe. Three conchos with bleedknots are set on a leather cutout design. Yoke has a buckle on the back.

Chinks are similar to chaps but are shorter, hitting somewhere above the ankle and below the knee. The fasterners go no further than above the knee which allows the chinks to more more freely from that point. Traditionally the fringe is longer in a pair of chinks and they look much fuller as they are not following the line of your leg as closely.
